15 Years of DeYuCo

From Workshops to a Worldwide Digital Ecosystem

Fifteen years ago, DeYuCo began with a simple idea: give executives practical tools they could use immediately, delivered by people who’d actually led businesses. Five years later, that idea had become a toolbox methodology. By year ten, it had grown to address operational, tactical, and strategic levels reaching board-level conversations about company direction.

This year, marking fifteen years of independent work as consultants and trainers to executives at every level, we want to share how much that toolbox idea has grown and where it’s taking us next.

The DLT: A Foundation of Everything a Leader Needs

Over the past five years, our central focus has been the development of the DLT, the Digital Leadership Toolbox. If our earlier toolboxes were curated collections built around specific client needs, the DLT represents something more ambitious: a comprehensive foundation containing the knowledge, frameworks, and tools a leader needs across their entire role.

The DLT brings together everything we’ve learned across fifteen years of operational, tactical, and strategic work into a single, continuously evolving resource. It’s not a static product. It’s the living foundation underneath everything we do, constantly expanded as new challenges, tools, and formats prove their value with clients.

Modern Tools for Modern Workshops

Part of building the DLT has meant embracing the tools that modern leadership teams actually use. This includes things like Miro templates: ready-to-go visual workspaces that let teams start a workshop format immediately, without the setup time that used to eat into valuable working sessions.

This might seem like a small detail, but it reflects a broader principle we’ve held since day one: ready-to-use beats ready-to-adapt. A leader shouldn’t have to spend the first thirty minutes of a session figuring out how to set up a tool. They should be able to open it and start working.

What We Learned From Corona

No reflection on the past five years would be honest without addressing the pandemic. Like every organization, we had to adapt quickly when on-site work became impossible almost overnight. But what we learned went well beyond short-term crisis management.

We learned that virtual is genuinely possible. Not as a compromise, but often as a powerful format in its own right. We learned that home office and distributed teams change a great deal about how businesses operate, communicate, and make decisions: changes that have persisted well beyond the acute phase of the pandemic.

For DeYuCo, this meant a fundamental shift from primarily on-site service delivery to virtual reach. The result has been transformative: we now serve more than 1,000 customers worldwide, a scale that simply wouldn’t have been possible under our previous on-site-centric model.

The Rise of Asynchronous Services

Virtual delivery opened another door: asynchronous services. Increasingly, we offer downloadable digital assets that leaders can access on their own schedule while not replacing live workshops and coaching, but complementing them with resources available whenever they’re needed.

This shift toward async, on-demand resources reflects how leadership development actually happens in practice. The moment a leader needs a tool isn’t always the moment a live session is scheduled. Increasingly, our role is to make sure the right resource is there the moment it’s needed, not days or weeks later.

Building What’s Next: Lucuadro and CEF

Fifteen years in, we’re preparing to launch two new brands that build directly on everything described above.

Lucuadro (LUC) will become our dedicated brand for digital assets: a natural home for the downloadable tools, templates, and resources that have become such an important part of how we work with clients.

CEF (Competency Evolution Framework) will become our premium brand: an executive library that goes beyond individual tools to offer a comprehensive, evolving body of leadership knowledge. CEF will also be where we fully embrace the possibilities of AI, integrating it into how leaders access, apply, and build on the frameworks we’ve developed over fifteen years.

A New Structure for a New Chapter

To support this growth, DeYuCo took an important structural step in 2022: our company is now registered in Spain as DeYuCo Academy S.L. Under this structure, each part of what we do has a clear identity:

DeYuCo remains our core service for business consultation and training: the relationship-driven work that has defined us from the beginning. DLT as the Digital Leadership Toolbox is our know-how-plus-tools collection, the foundation underneath everything. Lucuadro will be our brand for digital assets. And CEF will be our premium executive library, including AI-driven capabilities.

Fifteen Years On

What started as a small, focused offering in 2007 has grown into a worldwide ecosystem serving more than 1,000 customers, built on fifteen years of direct consulting and training experience at every level of leadership.

Through it all, our founding principles remain unchanged: business experts for business experts, tools for immediate application, proven to work. What has changed is the form those principles take: from in-person workshops to global virtual reach, from single tools to comprehensive digital toolboxes, and now, toward a structured family of brands ready to meet leaders wherever and whenever they need support.

We’re proud of fifteen years of growth, and even more excited about what comes next.
